Ready to Build: Pathway to Construction Careers is designed to help job seekers break into the home building and construction industry. The program involves soft skills development, where participants learn resume building, interview techniques, and workplace safety. Participants will also engage in a three-week on-site training program which provides hands-on experience in activities such as basic framing, drywalling, and electrical wiring assistance. Participants receive paid job placements while gaining real-world experience. The program is supported by industry leaders—Canadian Electric, and Logics Technology—who offer mentorship, training, and ongoing retention support to ensure long-term success. Graduates will be well-prepared to enter the construction workforce, backed by practical skills, job readiness, and connections to potential employers.
